On Friday, December 20, the Greenfield boys wrestling team traveled to West Allis to compete in the annual Stech Invite, a large and highly competitive tournament that brought together wrestlers from across the region. The Hawks showcased depth, toughness, and resilience throughout a long day of championship and consolation matches.
Leading the way for Greenfield was Julean Rouleau (113), who delivered an outstanding performance to earn a second-place finish. Rouleau advanced to the championship bout with a series of impressive wins, including multiple falls and a dominant major decision in the quarterfinals, before finishing as the runner-up in a loaded bracket.
Gavin St. John (175) also turned in a strong showing, battling through the bracket to secure a fifth-place finish. St. John earned key victories early in the tournament and capped off his day with a convincing major decision in the fifth-place match.
