Greenfield senior Mason Stieber-Pinter has been selected as the Box Out Sports Athlete of the Week for the week of February 10-16 after a statewide vote on WisSports.net. 

There were 3,464 total votes this week. Stieber-Pinter topped all vote getters with 1,258 votes. Slinger's Jack Kohnen finished in second with 936 votes.

Stieber-Pinter has upped his scoring output by eight points per game this season and it's paid dividends for a Greenfield team that is 20-1 on the year. Tuesday the Hustlin' Hawks squared off with Whitnall and came away with an 82-79 win and built a two-game lead in the Woodland-West. Stieber-Pinter had 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists in the win. The senior wing then went off as Greenfield beat Brown Deer 99-89 on Thursday. Stieber-Pinter poured in a career high 46 points in the victory and added 10 rebounds. Stieber-Pinter and Greenfield clinched at least a share of the Woodland-East title and have a chance to win it outright by winning one of its next two league games.

The Hustlin' Hawks did fall to Milwaukee Lutheran on Wednesday, but Stieber-Pinter poured in a team high 21 points. They square off with Shorewood on Friday with a chance to claim the Woodland-East title outright with a win.
