The Greenfield Hustlin' Hawks girls basketball team saw their season come to an end in the WIAA Sectional round with a hard-fought matchup against Whitnall, falling 46–26. Despite the final score, the Hawks' journey to the sectional stage highlighted the growth, resilience, and determination of a team that battled throughout the season.

Greenfield finished the year with a strong 17–10 record, advancing deep into the postseason and representing the program with pride.

Whitnall, entering the game at 22–5, applied defensive pressure throughout the contest. The Hawks continued to compete on both ends of the floor, showing the grit that carried them through the regular season and playoffs.

Senior Olivia Hoedel led Greenfield offensively, finishing with 10 points, while also contributing across the stat sheet with 11 rebounds and 3 steals, showcasing her leadership and impact on both ends of the court.

Several Hawks made key contributions throughout the game:

• Chloe Rutkowski added 6 points, knocking down 2 three-pointers.

• Ava Teschendorf contributed 4 points and 2 steals.

• Isla Higgins, Jayda Easley, and Marija Suha battled on the glass and defensively to keep the Hawks competing.

As a team, Greenfield collected 24 rebounds and 7 steals, continuing to fight for every possession until the final buzzer.
