In the final dual meet of the season, the PG squared co-op remained undefeated in their dual meet season crushing the greyhounds of Shorewood by a score of 132-49. The local favorites won 11 of 12 events and set 1 new pool record in the process. Emilio Perez swam a time of 1:41.47 in the 200 yard freestyle eclipsing the old mark of Joe Szcupakiewicz by over 2 seconds. Jack Lustig, and Leo Gandaria were also both double event winners in their respective events. Conner Eckes and Vincent Patti rounded out the individual wins scoring first place finishes in the diving event and 100 yard breaststroke events respectively. Ian Hughes was picked by the coaches as the “Swimmer of the meet” with 2 lifetime best times in the 200 and 500 yard freestyle events.

” Overall, if we can keep ourselves healthy and focused for the next 3 weeks, this should be a very memorable season” commented head Coach Dale Schrank.

The “PantherHawks” will see their next action at the Woodland Conference Championships hosted at the Greenfield Natatorium on Saturday February 8.
