The Hustlin’ Hawks Wrestling Team competed at the annual 25 team Ed Stech Invitational, placing 22nd at the two day event. Winning opening and consolation round matches on day 1 were: Marcellus Satterfield at 152 lbs, Joseph Hein at 160 lbs, and Danny Hernandez at 220 lbs.

Hernandez and Skyler Gill-Howard would advance to day 2 of competition at the prestigious invitational. Gill-Howard would avenge a loss from earlier in the tournament in the 3rd place place match in defeating Tyler Pitchel of Mukwonago by pin. The pin was Gill-Howard’s 5th pin of the tournament, which earned him the Pinner’s Award for most pins in the entire tournament,

Up next, the Hawks will travel to Elkhorn on 1.4.20, to compete at the Elkhorn Duals. Wrestling is scheduled to start at 9:30am.
