The Hustlin Hawks Wrestling team’s season came to an end last Saturday at the Racine Horlick Sectional. The Hawks were able to qualify five wrestlers for the tournament, however only one wrestler would make it out of the first round at this very competitive tournament. Jacob Christensen, competing for the Hawks at 138 lbs, would lose his tilt with Waterford’s Lucas Winski by a score of 2-10. At 145 lbs, Marcellus Satterfield would fall to Nick Cihler of Racine Horlick by way of pin and finish the season with a 22-19 record. Representing the Hawks at 182 lbs, was Matthew FIscher , who fell to Evan Danowski of Waterford, by pin. Senior, Jayce Craig, would lose a competitive match with Boyd Biggs of Waterford and finish his season with a 30-13 record.

Skyler Gill-Howard continued his late-season charge by winning his first round match-up over Waukesha West’s LJ Griffin, by pin in the second period. Gill-Howard was losing the match 2-8 before scoring a reversal that led to him recording the fall. Gill-Howard would finish in 4th place in his first trip to Sectionals and with 13-4 record overall.
