The Greenfield Boys Basketball team faced a challenging two-game stretch on December 12 and 13, squaring off against conference opponent Whitnall before taking on undefeated Arrowhead the following night. The Hawks showed resilience, depth, and continued growth while competing against two strong programs.
December 12 vs. Whitnall
Greenfield battled Whitnall in a competitive matchup, falling by a final score of 76–65. The Hawks stayed engaged throughout the contest, matching the Falcons' intensity and keeping the game within reach deep into the second half.
Azon Juarez-Quinn led Greenfield with 24 points, providing a steady offensive presence and attacking the basket aggressively. December 13 vs. Arrowhead
Less than 24 hours later, Greenfield took on an unbeaten Arrowhead squad, dropping a 96–70 decision to the Warhawks. Despite the final score, the Hawks continued to compete against one of the top teams in the state, gaining valuable experience against high-level competition.
Jaylyn Rogers and Luke O'Brien led the effort on both ends of the floor, combining rebounding and defensive pressure against Arrowhead's fast-paced attack. The Hawks continued to rotate players and battle through the physicality of the game, showing toughness and composure throughout.
