The Greenfield-Pius XI (GFP) Girls Swim and Dive team turned in an outstanding performance at the 20th Annual South Side Sprints on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Competing against strong programs across the area, the Hawks powered their way to the top of the leader board, securing 1st place overall with 396 points.

Standout Performances

• Diving Excellence: Senior Ava Wuerzberger placed 2nd in 1-meter diving with a score of 229.20.

• Relay Dominance: GFP took 1st place in all three relays:

  • 200 Medley Relay (Jennifer Werth, Emersyn LePine, Piper Seehawer, Ava Keiller) – 2:00.59

  • 200 Freestyle Relay (Seehawer, Grace Pagel, Keiller, LePine) – 1:49.39

  • 100 Freestyle Relay (Seehawer, Pagel, Werth, Keiller) – 53.60

With depth across all events and strong leadership from both upperclassmen and underclassmen, GFP outpaced rival New Berlin West by just three points, making every race and relay contribution critical to the victory.
