The Greenfield/Pius XI girls swim team delivered an exciting performance at the Dog Days Invitational on September 20, showcasing depth, speed, and teamwork. Facing a strong field, the Hawks powered to a 4th place overall team finish with 222.5 points.

Meet Highlights

• Relay Standouts

  • 200 Medley Relay: Jennifer Werth, Emersyn LePine, Piper Seehawer, and Ava Keiller opened the meet with a 2nd place finish (1:59.45).

  • 400 Freestyle Relay: The closing event belonged to Greenfield/Pius XI, as Werth, Grace Pagel, Seehawer, and LePine won the race in 4:04.56, sealing a strong team score.

• Individual Top Finishes

  • Emersyn LePine captured 1st in the 200 IM (2:19.28) and a strong 2nd in the 100 Breaststroke (1:11.26).

  • Piper Seehawer had a stellar distance showing, taking 2nd in the 500 Freestyle (5:48.58) and 3rd in the 100 Butterfly (1:03.88).

  • Jennifer Werth contributed valuable points with a 3rd place finish in the 100 Butterfly (1:07.82) and 6th in the 100 Backstroke (1:07.75).

  • Grace Pagel impressed in middle-distance events with 6th in the 200 Freestyle (2:20.32) and 5th in the 100 Freestyle (1:02.58).

  • Ava Keiller sprinted to 8th in the 50 Freestyle (28.26) and added 8th in the 100 Breaststroke (1:23.52).

Strong swims across the lineup, including Tegan Tervoort, Jessie Dolan, Luna Mendieta, Claire Dolan, Eleanor Pochert, Ava Sanderson, and Olivia Wiltzius, helped secure key depth points and fuel the Hawks' top-four team finish.
