The Greenfield/Pius XI girls swim team continued its impressive season with a commanding team victory at Brown Deer High School, finishing first overall with 68 points. The Hawks outpaced Brown Deer/University School (36) and St. Thomas More/St. Francis (33) in a strong all-around team showing.
Greenfield opened the meet with a win in the 200 Medley Relay, as Jennifer Werth, Emersyn LePine, Piper Seehawer, and Grace Pagel combined for a time of 2:00.52, setting the tone early for a dominant night.
LePine led the way individually, capturing first in both the 200 Individual Medley (2:17.87) and the 100 Breaststroke (1:10.11). Seehawer showcased her range with victories in the 50 Freestyle (26.42) and the 500 Freestyle (5:48.50), while Werth added another top finish in the 100 Butterfly (1:06.01).
Grace Pagel earned first in the 100 Freestyle (1:04.30) and contributed key points throughout the night, while Luna Mendieta, Ava Wuerzberger, Tegan Tervoot, and Jessie Dolan sealed another relay win for Greenfield, taking the 200 Freestyle Relay in 1:51.50.
JV swimmers also stepped up, with Zandra Daniels, Eleanor Pochert, and Brianna Kosmeder-Greengo turning in strong performances that added valuable depth to the team's overall win.
The meet was another strong step forward for the Greenfield/Pius XI program, as the Hawks continue to build momentum heading into the final stretch of the regular season and postseason competition.
