The Greenfield Girls Flag Football team delivered a dominant, all-around performance this week, showcasing explosive offense, lockdown defense, and true team chemistry.
On the offensive side of the ball, Julia Kruschke, Retal Abdelaziz, and Reem Omar were unstoppable, combining for 10 receptions resulting in six touchdowns. Their crisp routes, strong hands, and ability to create separation kept the defense on its heels from the opening drive.
Defensively, Cora Van Gorder, Tatum Phelps, and Gianna Wagner anchored the unit, pulling the most flags and shutting down key drives. Their discipline and communication helped Greenfield maintain control of the game from start to finish.
The highlight moment came late, when Cora Van Gorder sealed the win with a clutch interception, eliminating any chance of a comeback and energizing the Hawks sideline.
Quarterback EddieAna Velez also turned in a standout performance, delivering accurate passes and "throwing dimes" all game long to fuel the offense's success.
This victory was the definition of a true team effort, with contributions across every position. The Hawks continue to build momentum—together, stronger each week.
