The Greenfield girls wrestling team continued to display determination and resilience during the December 17th Quad, highlighted by an impressive double-pin performance from sophomore standout Nuriah Kaabacchi at 185 pounds.

Kaabacchi led the Hawks with a commanding night on the mat, needing just 1 minute and 24 seconds to pin Annalia of West Allis Central before returning with an even faster finish—a 52-second pin—against Mares of Racine Park. Her back-to-back victories anchored Greenfield's efforts and once again showcased her strength, composure, and finishing ability.

Although the evening began with tough matchups against Racine Park, the Hawks showed fight and determination across the lineup:

• At 100, Mya Chawla battled hard before being pinned at 3:12 by Harrington (Racine Park).

• At 107, Angela Xiong's match ended at 44 seconds against Steil (Racine Park), but Xiong's recent performances demonstrate continuous growth and potential in this early part of the season.

Despite a pair of early setbacks, Greenfield's grit never wavered—and Kaabacchi's dominant showing exemplified the team's perseverance and upward trajectory.

The Hawks continue to build momentum and confidence heading into the heart of the season. With athletes like Chawla and Xiong gaining valuable experience and Kaabacchi delivering powerhouse results, Greenfield's lineup is proving it has both developing depth and top-tier talent.
