The Greenfield Boys Swim team, part of the Pius Greenfield Greendale co-op, made waves at the 2025 Woodland Conference Championship on February 8, delivering an outstanding performance across multiple events. The team showcased its strength, speed, and teamwork, securing top finishes in key races.
Dominant Relay Performances
The Pius Greenfield Greendale varsity team claimed victory in the 200-yard medley relay, clocking an impressive 1:43.37. The winning squad, consisting of Noah Stanford, Max Miller, Evan Richberger, and Luke Miller, demonstrated excellent coordination and skill.
The team also took first place in the 200-yard freestyle relay, setting a blistering time of 1:29.24. Once again, Max Miller, Evan Richberger, Noah Stanford, and Luke Miller were the driving force behind this victory.
Standout Individual Performances
- Max Miller had a stellar meet, winning the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 2:04.07 and dominating the 100-yard backstroke in 55.43 seconds.
- Luke Miller sprinted to a third-place finish in the 50-yard freestyle (22.76) and earned runner-up in the 100-yard freestyle (50.12).
- Evan Richberger placed fifth in the 50-yard freestyle (23.35), adding crucial points to the team's total.
A Strong Overall Performance
With these outstanding results, the Greenfield boys proved to be a powerhouse in the Woodland Conference. Their combination of individual talent and teamwork set the stage for future successes as they look ahead to sectionals and state competition.
