The Greenfield boys swim team is making waves as three of its top athletes—Luke Miller, Max Miller, and Evan Richberger—have punched their tickets to the WIAA State Championships this Saturday. Following a standout performance at sectionals, the trio is set to compete at the highest level, representing Greenfield on the state stage.

Dominating at Sectionals

The Greenfield team put on an impressive display at the 2025 WIAA Division 1 Sectional Meet in Muskego, securing strong finishes in multiple events. One of their biggest highlights came in the 200-yard Medley Relay, where Miller, Miller, and Richberger, alongside teammate Noah Stanford, finished third with a time of 1:42.18.

Individually, Luke Miller shined in the 50-yard Freestyle, taking first place with a blistering time of 22.34 seconds. He continued his dominance in the 100-yard Freestyle, securing another first-place finish at 48.90 seconds, cementing his status as one of the fastest sprinters in the state.

Max Miller also made a strong statement in the 200-yard Individual Medley (IM), earning third place with a time of 2:02.73, while also excelling in the 100-yard Backstroke, where he finished second in 55.42 seconds.

Evan Richberger added to the team's success with a sixth-place finish in the 50-yard Freestyle at 23.39 seconds, proving his speed among top competitors.

Gearing Up for State

With state on the horizon, Greenfield's swimmers are preparing for the biggest meet of the season. Their exceptional performances at sectionals have earned them a spot among Wisconsin's elite, and they'll be looking to make an impact at the WIAA State Meet this Saturday.

As they take to the water one final time this season, all eyes will be on Luke Miller, Max Miller, Evan Richberger, and Noah Stanford as they aim to bring home medals and set new personal bests.
