The Greenfield Girls Wrestling Team made a strong showing at the 2025 Woodland Girls Conference Tournament, with multiple wrestlers placing in their respective weight classes and scoring valuable team points. The team demonstrated resilience and skill throughout the competition, with standout performances across several weight divisions.
Top Performances
107 lbs – Angela Xiong (2nd Place, 12.0 Team Points)
Angela Xiong (25-15) fought her way to the championship match after receiving byes in the quarterfinal and semifinal rounds. In the final, she faced Elaine Hay of Brown Deer/Messmer/Shorewood, ultimately falling by pin in 1:13. Her strong performance secured a second-place finish and contributed valuable points to the team.
114 lbs – Gianna Wagner (2nd Place, 20.0 Team Points)
Gianna Wagner (12-12) had an impressive tournament, winning her semifinal match by fall over Danika Teresinski (Wisconsin Lutheran) in 3:57. In the championship match, she faced a tough opponent in Tesa Marrero (New Berlin West/Eisenhower) and finished in second place after a fall at 1:56.
120 lbs – Natali Rivera (6th Place, 7.0 Team Points)
Natali Rivera (12-20) started strong with a quick pin over Ryan Whitney (Whitnall/Greendale) in just 57 seconds during the quarterfinals. She battled hard in the following rounds but finished in sixth place after falling in both the consolation semifinal and fifth-place match.
126 lbs – Eva Rivera (4th Place, 11.0 Team Points)
Eva Rivera (13-16) opened her tournament with a dominant pin over Josalynn Klopp (West Allis Central) in just 39 seconds. Despite tough losses in the semifinal and third-place match, she finished in fourth place and added 11 points to Greenfield's team total.
132 lbs – Jazlene Solis (4th Place, 12.0 Team Points)
Jazlene Solis (21-21) had a determined run in the tournament, bouncing back from an early loss to claim a big major decision victory (20-12) in the consolation semifinals. She ended the tournament in fourth place after a tough rematch against Grecia Ortiz (New Berlin West/Eisenhower).
165 lbs – Nuriah Kaabachi (1st Place, 26.0 Team Points)
Greenfield's highlight performance of the tournament came from Nuriah Kaabachi (26-12), who claimed the championship title at 165 lbs. After receiving a bye in the quarterfinals, she won by fall over Nadia Salem (Whitnall/Greendale) in 3:52. In the championship match, Kaabachi secured the gold with a fall over Bella Ortiz (New Berlin West/Eisenhower) at 4:48.
