Roger Lara set the tone defensively with 10 digs and 3 aces, keeping rallies alive and applying pressure from the service line. At the net, Aaron Wendricks powered the attack with 10 kills while hitting an impressive .438, giving the Hawks consistent scoring throughout the match. Romario Ortega directed the offense with 28 assists, spreading the ball effectively to keep Martin Luther guessing. The team's net play was a highlight as well, recording 10 total blocks to control momentum.

After a hard-fought 25–23 win in the opening set, the Hawks dropped the second 22–25 but responded with confidence. Greenfield dominated the next two sets 25–16 and 25–9, sealing the match and energizing the home crowd.
