The Greenfield boys volleyball team showed grit and determination in their Woodland Conference matchup against South Milwaukee on Tuesday, September 17, 2025. Despite strong individual performances and competitive sets, the Hawks came up short, falling 0–3 (23-25, 23-25, 16-25).

Trevor Schueller led the offensive effort with 6 kills, hitting .133, while setter Romario Ortega sparked the attack with 18 assists and added 3 aces and 8 digs. The Hawks stayed within striking distance in the first two sets, dropping both by narrow 23-25 margins before South Milwaukee closed out the match in the third.

Greenfield will look to build on the positives from this hard-fought contest as they continue their season.
