The Greenfield/Greendale/Wisconsin Lutheran Boys Swimming co-op put together a strong team performance on Saturday, January 24, competing in the 2026 Bob White Invitational. With multiple top finishes, strong relay swims, and key individual performances, the team continued to build momentum as the season moves forward.
Relay Success Highlights the Day
The team's relays were a major strength throughout the meet, showing depth, chemistry, and consistency across multiple events.
200 Yard Medley Relay
The co-op opened the meet with a solid swim in the 200 Medley Relay, finishing in 2:12.08. The relay lineup featured Ethan Anderson, Joshua Nguyen, Nehemiah Li, and Johnathan Condecon-Acker.
200 Yard Freestyle Relay
One of the biggest moments of the meet came in the 200 Free Relay, where Greenfield/Greendale/Wisconsin Lutheran placed 6th overall with a time of 1:39.22. The relay team included Gabriel Hernandez, Benjamin Hernandez, Deacon Ward, and Ben West.
400 Yard Freestyle Relay
To close out the invitational, the 400 Free Relay turned in an impressive performance, finishing 4th overall with a time of 3:35.79. The relay squad was Gabriel Hernandez, Benjamin Hernandez, Ben West, and Deacon Ward.
Standout Individual Performances
The co-op had several notable individual swims, led by strong efforts from the Hernandez brothers and key contributions in both sprint and distance events.
Gabriel Hernandez – Runner-Up in the 200 IM
Gabriel delivered one of the top swims of the day in the 200 Yard Individual Medley, earning 2nd place overall with a time of 2:03.40. He also added a major scoring finish in the 500 Free, placing 2nd overall in 4:52.13.
Benjamin Hernandez – Strong Backstroke Finish
Benjamin added valuable points throughout the day, including an 8th place finish in the 200 IM (2:15.08) and a 4th place finish in the 100 Backstroke (1:00.68).

With strong scoring across the board, Greenfield/Greendale/Pius/Wisconsin Lutheran finished 9th overall in the team standings, totaling 148 points.
