Offensive Highlights
Junior quarterback Nolan Kranich led the offense, completing 3 of 5 passes for 21 yards and a touchdown, earning a passer rating of 161.3. Senior tight end Gavin St. John was a major contributor on the ground and through the air, tallying 18 rushing yards and two touchdowns while also hauling in a 7-yard touchdown reception. Senior running back Jose Garcia delivered a standout performance, rushing for 169 yards and two touchdowns on 19 carries. Freshman Peyton Briley added another spark to the backfield with 48 yards and a touchdown on 6 carries.
Defensive Standouts
The Hawks' defense set the tone early and didn't let up. Junior Zach Safka was unstoppable up front, recording 7 total tackles, 2.5 sacks, and 3.5 tackles for loss. Senior Dylan Alba added 6 tackles, while sophomore Jayden-Elvis Alvarado contributed 5 total tackles. Senior Sullivan McCann had a big night, forcing a fumble and grabbing an interception to keep momentum on Greenfield's side.
Special Teams Impact
Senior Nate Teicher made an impact in the return game, collecting 49 yards on two punt returns. Kicker Patrick Morgese went 4-for-5 on PATs and booted seven kickoffs with one touchback. Senior Brayden Ziarek handled punting duties, averaging 46 yards on his lone punt of the night.
