The Greenfield Girls Soccer team delivered their most complete performance of the season in a dramatic 5-3 comeback win, showcasing grit, chemistry, and relentless determination.
After falling behind 2-0 within the first 12 minutes, the Hawks found their rhythm. Senior Bre Homar sparked the response, scoring her first goal of the season before halftime to level the match at 2-2. Despite conceding early in the second half, Greenfield responded in dominant fashion—pouring in three unanswered goals, led by a spectacular second-half surge from junior Marija Kosanovic, who finished with four goals on the night.
The team's midfield play was electric, combining quick, accurate passes with smart off-ball movement that unlocked the opposing defense time and again. Defensively, the back line held firm in key moments, and keeper Diane Daniels made two critical saves to maintain momentum.
Assists came from Jasmine Sanchez (2), Kosanovic, Homar, and Aaliyah Gorenc, reflecting a true team effort. Every player on the field brought their best, setting a new standard for what this team can achieve.
