The Greenfield girls soccer team wrapped up their 2025 season last night in a WIAA Regional matchup against Waukesha North, falling 0-4 in a tough road contest. Despite their best efforts, the Hawks struggled to find rhythm offensively and couldn't generate chances in the middle or final third of the field.
Greenfield's defensive line was tested often, and while the team showed flashes of grit, a lack of consistent hustle and urgency may have contributed to the outcome. One standout on the evening was senior Jayda Benabe, who was a force on defense and arguably the most dominant player on the field for the Hawks. Her leadership and relentless effort helped limit several scoring opportunities from the Northstars.
Although the result wasn't what the team had hoped for, the Hawks conclude the season with valuable experience and growth, setting the foundation for future success.
