Greenfield played its second game of the season on the new turf field at Saint Francis High School on Wednesday night, coming away with an impressive 11–3 victory over Cudahy.
After a slow start, the Hustlin' Hawks quickly found their rhythm. Senior forward Yandel Rosa opened the scoring on a determined hustle play, breaking through the defense to find the net, and went on to finish with two goals.
Patrick Morgese led the offensive surge, recording three goals and four assists, as Greenfield's attack moved the ball with efficiency and capitalized on breakaway chances. Owen Engelhardt added two goals and three assists, including a setup for Nico Barot's header goal in his first match back this season.
The scoring continued in the second half as Amaury Moreno beat a defender 1v1 for a goal, and Connor Schroeder found the net twice—once in each half. Rami Guelmi rounded out the Hawks' offensive explosion with a goal and an assist.
Greenfield grew stronger as the match went on, improving its passing, controlling possession, and generating over 30 shots. The Hawks will look to build on this strong performance as they head into a challenging week against Whitnall, Kenosha Bradford, and Elkhorn—last year's state runner-up.
