Tuesday the Hustlin' Hawks hosted Veritas/Tenor in the first round of regionals. This matchup proved to be a rather tricky outing. Having most of the possession we created many chances. Defenders Owen Schuk, Malik Bennani and Owen Englehardt were able to keep chances to a minimum from the away side. Senior goalkeeper Brady Zimmer also came away with two key saves on breakaways. In the end, the Hawks got the winning goal on a corner kick scored by Laith Mutlaq, assisted by junior captain Patrick Morgese with two minutes left in the match!

The team then took on Union Grove for the regional final but lost 0-4. What a great season for the Hawks!
