The varsity soccer team had an end-to-end season opener. While conceding the first goal we stormed back to equalize with a goal from sophomore Kamo Selepe. By halftime we had conceded one more, to eventually equalize again with a penalty kick from Junior captain Patrick Morgese. The match ultimately ended in defeat with a final score of 2-3. Special mention to senior Eli Francour for stepping in goal and making some fantastic saves with starting keeper Brady Zimmer injured. Overall, I was very pleased with the performance. We look to bounce back next week Wednesday at Cudahy!
