Coming into the match we knew that this would be a great test for the Hawks. This was a very fast-paced match that went end to end for the entirety of the contest.
Brady Zimmer was back in goal after returning from injury making some incredible saves. However, Nicolet proved to be slightly more clinical, netting a goal in the twentieth minute. We went into the second half with more structure and understanding. The boys had an even better second half while only conceding one more goal. Standout defensive performances from the entire backline came from Mason and
Owen Englehardt,
Owen Schuk and
Malik Bennani. We look to get back into winning ways as we enter into the Milwaukee Lutheran Quad at the weekend. With the Hawks looking to win the Quad for a third straight year.
