The Greenfield Varsity Softball team delivered an offensive showcase on Monday night, cruising past Brown Deer/Shorewood with a dominant 17-6 victory. The Hustlin' Hawks set the tone early with a massive 10-run first inning and never looked back, racking up 13 hits and 17 RBIs in the shortened six-inning affair.

Right fielder EddieAna Velez led the offensive charge, going 4-for-4 with 3 RBIs and scoring three times. She also added a double and tallied five total bases. Jasmine Lasky was a force both on the mound and at the plate, launching a home run as part of a 2-for-2 day that included three runs scored and three RBIs. Cali Rodriguez and Calla Gbur also had big days, each notching multi-hit performances and combining for 4 RBIs.

The team showcased depth throughout the lineup, with nine different players scoring at least one run and eight recording hits. Greenfield's patience at the plate paid off as well, drawing 11 walks.

On the mound, Jasmine Lasky earned the win, tossing five innings and striking out three. Despite allowing six runs (four earned) on eight hits, she stayed composed and limited the damage with strong defense behind her.

The victory improves Greenfield's momentum in conference play as they continue to build confidence on both sides of the ball.
