The Greenfield Hustlin' Hawks Softball Team exploded for a 12-run third inning en route to a commanding 15-5 win over Palmyra-Eagle on Monday, May 19. The offensive surge powered Greenfield to their latest victory, fueled by a balanced team effort at the plate and solid pitching from Jasmine Lasky.
Greenfield collected 14 hits in the game, with standout performances from multiple players. Maya Hornung crushed a home run and drove in four runs, finishing the night 2-for-3 with 3 runs scored. Cali Rodriguez went a perfect 3-for-4, scoring three times and swiping a base. Naomi Kleczynski and Jamie Murray each contributed two hits and two runs, with Murray also adding a stolen base.
Erin Brielmaier chipped in an RBI and was hit by a pitch, while Jasmine Lasky helped her own cause with two RBIs at the plate. Eight different Hawks recorded at least one hit, showcasing the team's depth and aggressive approach.
On the mound, Jasmine Lasky pitched all five innings, giving up 10 hits and five earned runs while striking out one. She threw 79 pitches—48 for strikes—and faced 26 batters in the complete-game effort.
