With dominant performances at the plate and in the circle, the Hawks head into tonight's WIAA Regional opener against Waukesha South riding a wave of momentum.
In Game 1, Greenfield exploded for 14 runs on 17 hits in just five innings. Maya Hornung starred on both sides of the ball, going 3-for-4 with 4 RBIs and tossing a three-hit shutout with six strikeouts. Calla Gbur and Grace Mysliwy each added three hits, with Gbur also driving in four.
