Despite the tough result, sophomore C. Gbur managed to break up the shutout with the team's lone hit of the day. The Hawks drew two walks on the night, showing patience at the plate, but South Milwaukee's offense proved overwhelming with a 13-hit performance and a steady scoring attack through the middle innings.
