The Greenfield Hawks Varsity Baseball team delivered a commanding performance on Tuesday night, overpowering Milwaukee Lutheran 26-1 in a five-inning contest.
The Hawks' offense was unstoppable, racking up 26 runs on 11 hits, capitalizing on nine errors committed by Milwaukee Lutheran. Elijah Hunt was nearly perfect at the plate, going 4-for-4 with 5 runs scored and 3 RBIs, while Eli Francour added 3 RBIs and scored 3 times himself. Bradyn Seidler also had a big night, collecting 2 hits and crossing the plate 3 times.
On the mound, the Hawks' pitching duo was lights-out. Mason Grafwallner started strong, throwing 3 no-hit innings, striking out 6 while allowing just 1 run. Alex Peacock closed out the final two frames, keeping the no-hitter intact with 4 strikeouts, sealing the combined no-hit effort.
Greenfield exploded for 11 runs in the second inning and kept their foot on the gas, scoring in every inning they played. They were aggressive on the basepaths as well, swiping 15 bases in total—Rex Giegerich leading with 4.
The Hawks now ride this wave of momentum into their next matchup, continuing to showcase both offensive firepower and pitching dominance.
