Greenfield baseball delivered a complete team effort Tuesday night, rolling to a dominant 13-0 victory over Cudahy in five innings.
The Hawks jumped on the board early with three runs in the first inning before breaking the game wide open with an eight-run third. Greenfield added two more in the fifth to cap off the offensive explosion.
At the plate, Greenfield made the most of its opportunities, scoring 13 runs on seven hits while drawing six walks and keeping constant pressure on Cudahy with aggressive baserunning.
Brody Jens led the way with a strong all-around performance, going 2-for-3 with a triple, two runs scored, and a stolen base. Enrique Lopez provided a huge offensive spark with a home run, finishing with three RBI and two runs scored. Noah Kranich came through in key moments, tallying two hits and driving in four runs. Chase Wallich sparked the Hawks from the top of the lineup, scoring three runs, drawing two walks, collecting a hit, and swiping three bases in an aggressive performance on the basepaths.
Greenfield's pressure on the bases continued all night, helping turn scoring chances into big innings and keeping the Cudahy defense on its heels.
On the mound, Mason Grafwallner was outstanding, tossing a five-inning no-hitter while striking out 11 batters and allowing just one walk in a dominant shutout performance. Grafwallner controlled the game from the start, facing just 17 hitters and keeping Cudahy off balance all night long in one of the Hawks' best pitching performances of the season.
Defensively, Greenfield backed up the stellar outing on the mound with a solid effort in the field to preserve the shutout.
