Greenfield Baseball Outslugs Kenosha Tremper for 10-7 Victory

The Greenfield Varsity Baseball team earned a hard-fought 10-7 win over Kenosha Tremper on Saturday, May 17, fueled by timely hitting, smart base running, and a combined pitching effort that held off a late charge from the visiting team.

The Hawks struck early and often, scoring 10 runs on just 7 hits while taking advantage of 8 walks and multiple hit batters. Senior outfielder Bradyn Seidler led the offense with a huge day at the plate, going 2-for-3 with a double and driving in 5 runs. Eli Francour added a double of his own, scored twice, and brought in 3 RBIs, while Ethan Miszewski and Brady Zimmer chipped in with key hits.

On the base paths, Francour kept the pressure on the defense with three stolen bases, helping keep the momentum in Greenfield's favor.

Pitching duties were split across three arms. Ethan Hanke started the game, going 1.2 innings and striking out one. Elijah Hunt earned the win in relief, tossing 4.0 innings, striking out five, and allowing just three hits. Seidler closed out the game, throwing the final 1.1 innings.

The Hawks improved their poise and plate discipline, working counts and showing resilience on defense to secure the win. With strong offensive performances and a gritty bullpen showing, Greenfield continues to build confidence heading into their next matchup.

Way to go, Hawks!
