Greenfield Baseball Dominates in 25-4 Win Over Milwaukee Lutheran

The Greenfield Varsity Hawks baseball team delivered a powerful offensive performance Thursday night, rolling past Milwaukee Lutheran in a commanding 25-4 victory.

Greenfield exploded for 12 runs in the third inning and never looked back, racking up 16 hits and showcasing an aggressive approach at the plate and on the base paths. The Hawks scored in every inning, including multiple runs in five straight frames.

Leading the offensive charge was Ethan Hanke, who scored 4 runs, tallied 2 hits—including two doubles—and drove in 3 runs. Eli Francour also had a monster game, going 3-for-5 with 4 RBIs, two triples, and several stolen bases. Jayden Valdez added 2 hits and 4 RBIs of his own, while Nate Wendricks contributed a perfect 3-for-3 night with 2 RBIs.

On the mound, the trio of Wendricks, Miszewski, and Valdez combined for 7 strikeouts over 5 innings, limiting Milwaukee Lutheran to just 6 hits. Miszewski tossed 2 scoreless innings, while Wendricks and Valdez held off the Red Knights' efforts despite a few late runs.

Defensively, the Hawks were nearly flawless, committing only two errors, while keeping pressure on Milwaukee Lutheran with timely pitching and solid glove work.

Greenfield now looks to carry this momentum into their next matchup, with the offense firing on all cylinders and pitching depth giving them plenty of options moving forward.

Final Score: Greenfield 25, Milwaukee Lutheran 4
