The Greenfield Varsity Hawks delivered an unforgettable performance on Friday, outlasting Shoreland Lutheran in a high-scoring, back-and-forth battle to secure a 15–14 win.

Greenfield jumped out early, putting pressure on Shoreland Lutheran with aggressive baserunning and timely hitting. The Hawks plated runs in five different innings, highlighted by a big middle stretch that helped build a lead. However, Shoreland Lutheran answered with a strong fifth inning to keep the game tight, setting up a dramatic finish.

Offensively, Greenfield saw contributions throughout the lineup. Calla Gbur led the charge with a standout day at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs scored. Jamie Murray added three hits of her own and drove in two runs, while also tallying a team-high four total bases.
