The Greenfield Varsity Hawks showed resilience and offensive flashes despite a 26–9 loss to Brookfield East on Monday.

Greenfield came out aggressive at the plate, totaling 9 runs on 4 hits while demonstrating strong plate discipline with 8 walks. The Hawks capitalized on opportunities early, putting pressure on Brookfield East's defense and staying competitive through the first three innings.

Leading the way offensively was Calla Gbur, who delivered a standout performance with a triple and 2 RBIs. Naomi Kleszczynski and Cali Rodriguez each crossed the plate multiple times and added hits to help spark the offense. Erin Brielmaier contributed both in the circle and at the plate, recording a hit, an RBI, and drawing a walk.
